Who We Are *
Kenyan Youth Empowerment (KYE) was established to address the growing need for a structured, supportive community among young Kenyans in the diaspora. Initially formed as a small networking group, KYE has expanded to over 400 members, hosting various events and initiatives aimed at personal and professional development. We have built strong connections, organized impactful events, and fostered leadership within our community. Our growth demonstrates the increasing demand for a structured organization that caters to the needs of Kenyan youth.
Ubuntu –
"I am because We are."
Together, we empower, connect, and grow.
Ubuntu is our guiding philosophy. Rooted in the African concept of shared humanity, it means “I am because we are.” At KYE, Ubuntu reminds us that our strength comes from community, connection, and the belief that we rise by uplifting one another.
